Dale's Ridge Trail

Dale’s Ridge Trail is a sweet little hiking spot in the heart of Lewisburg, PA. When walking alongside Buffalo Creek, keep an eye out for ducks, turtles, and gorgeous wildflowers! Challenge yourself with steep switchbacks and encounter the elevated overlooks; take a deep breath in and take in that beautiful view! Dale’s Ridge Trail is a medium-level 2-mile loop. Head over to Lewisburg now and start your adventure!

Roaring Creek Trail

You can find Roaring Creek Trail at Weiser State Park, located between Elysburg, PA and Catawissa, PA. The wide gravel trail allows for simplistic traffic, so bring your dog or ride your bike with no worries! This is the perfect place for a relaxing lunch with scenery, with many picnic tables available at all hours. Enjoy the water by casting a line or taking a kayak ride — swimming is prohibited! Be sure to check out the Natalie Miners Trail for some extra action and keep an eye out for salamanders! Don't forget to stop by at Woody's Place for some AMAZING and reasonably priced breakfast/lunch!

Chilisuagi Trail

Chilisuagi Trail is the biggest loop trail at Montour Preserve, Danville, PA. This is a very easy trail, consisting of gravel, grass, and dirt paths and informational posts along the way. The wildlife is abundant at Montour Preserve — fish, heron, geese, deer, squirrels, rabbits, and more geese. This 1.9 mile loop surrounds the entirety of Lake Chillisquaque, so you’ll never take a wrong turn as long as you can see the water! The Riverside Adventure Company provides a kayak rental hub at the Montour Preserve, allowing for impromptu kayak rides! This is a beautiful and much overlooked spot, get to hiking today!
